Old branding from DS Schilderwerken
Concept Kwast: The ideas from my client. I roughly put everything on paper to get a clear vision what my client wants in his new Logo. He wanted the initials D and S drawn inside an creative way. I've used the negative space inside the letter D to get a "Kwast" drawn inside it. Kwast is a dutch word for Brush.
Concept Verf: This is my own concept and vision how I think it would be the best for his company. I made a circle and separated in four slices. I leave one out so I can put the DS initials inside of it. Then in every slice, I put an icon inside what his company does best, which is painting. The shape and idea from this design comes from a color pallette which those artistic painters uses.
With "Concept Kwast" idea, I translated my sketch into a digital version.
Same applies to "Concept Verf". This is how I feel it would made his Logo and branding to the next level.
In the end, my client chose for "Concept Kwast" and he made some slight adjustment into it, as seen in the Stylesheet above. Here you can see the final design of the logo and which fonts and colors i've used.
